Kyhl Amosson spent 27 years in international economic development as a practitioner. He began as an agricultural economist volunteer in Mauritania and ended as the global director for economic development for World Vision International. He has lived in nine countries and traveled for work to more than fifty countries.
He has experience in conflict and disaster contexts, local market development, microfinance, livelihoods and food security, youth and gender empowerment, and savings groups.
He served on the working group that wrote the Minimum Economic Recovery Standards, 3rd Edition, for the humanitarian aid industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
