Pierre Laurent Della Bianca

Pierre is a Swiss Diplomat and holds a MA in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen and a MA in European Politics from the College of Europe. During his studies, he interned at the Swiss Embassy in China. Before joining the MFA in 2018, he worked for a management consultancy in Lebanon and financial services at Credit Suisse. He graduated from Credit Suisse Management Program, specializing in business development for the Middle Eastern market.

At the MFA, he first worked at the Non-Proliferation Desk in Bern before joining the Swiss Embassy in Washington DC, specializing in the US-CN strategic competition with a particular focus on its technological component. Back in Bern, Pierre works at the OSCE desk in charge of the Swiss economic and environmental engagement with the organization. On a more personal note, he is passionate about motorbikes and sailing. Born in the Swiss alps, he is also an ardent skier.
