The 15th Summer School for Young Diplomats: The Power of Diplomacy – Preventing Conflict, Preserving Peace and Promoting Prosperity

We are pleased that the 15th Summer School for Young Diplomats “Gavro Vuković“ organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro took place from 3rd until 10th July, 2022.

This year’s edition of Summer School was offered in hybrid format and laid a particular emphasis on the role and importance of diplomacy in conflict resolution, preserving international peace and security, overcoming crises and developing new models of cooperation in the international arena.

The lectures, panel discussions, presentations, workshops and social events brought together more than 50 young diplomats from 32 countries from all over the world, as well as more than 30 prominent speakers – academics, diplomats and politicians to discuss the complex issues of contemporary international affairs.

The Summer School also provided an opportunity for young diplomats to join our growing alumni network composed now of nearly 700 young leaders from more than 80 countries, as well to find out more about history, culture and foreign policy priorities of participating countries.
