Summer School welcomes Erik Goldstein, Professor of International Relations and History at the Boston University
Erik Goldstein is Professor of International Relations and History at the Pardee School of Global Studies, Boston University. He was previously a professor of International History at the University of Birmingham (UK), has taught at the U.S. Naval War College, and was recently visiting Professor at King’s College, London. Goldstein has written extensively on diplomacy, diplomatic history and British foreign policy. He was the founder-editor of the journal Diplomacy & Statecraft and has served on the editorial boards of the Hague Journal of Diplomacy and International History Review. In the 1990s he participated in the delivery of the British Know How Fund programme for diplomatic training. Goldstein served for twelve years as chairman of the Pardee School’s predecessor, the Department of International Relations. From 2010-2016 he served on the Governing Board of the International Baccalaureate. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
