Participants 2026: A World Championship in Diplomacy
This year, the 19th Summer School for Young Diplomats “Gavro Vuković” welcomes participants from 48 countries across the globe – the same number of national teams competing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Just as football has the power to unite nations through a shared passion for the game, the Summer School brings together young diplomats through a shared commitment to dialogue, learning, and international cooperation.
For one week, participants from Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas come together to exchange ideas, broaden their perspectives, and build friendships that transcend borders.
In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, digital communication, and global challenges, face-to-face dialogue is more important than ever. Through discussions, cultural exchange, and collaborative learning, participants strengthen not only their professional skills but also the mutual understanding that lies at the heart of diplomacy.
Forty-eight countries. One global community. United by dialogue, learning, and the belief that understanding one another is the first step toward solving the world’s shared challenges.
Just as football unites nations on the field, the Summer School unites future diplomats around the table – because the greatest achievements always begin with dialogue and unity.
