Strengthening diplomatic capacities will contribute to EU integration process

Foreign ministers of Montenegro and Croatia signed Memorandum of Understanding between diplomatic academies of the two countries on May 7, 2021 in Podgorica.

Considering the friendly and cooperative relations between two neighboring countries, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia are guided by their common desire to further intensified collaboration in the area of diplomatic training.

Exchanging invitations for diplomatic staff to participate in training programmes, exchanging invitations for relevant speakers for the training programmes, organizing joint training programmes of common interest are just some of the modalities of cooperation that will be implemented under the principles of reciprocity and mutual benefits.

Developing and strengthening diplomatic capacities of Montenegro will further support process of integration to the European Union.
